SG Land Investment LLC Text Message Compliance Policy
Effective Date: August 28, 2023 1. Purpose: SG Land Investment LLC ("Company") is committed to protecting the privacy and rights of individuals who choose to receive text messages from us. This policy outlines the rules and procedures for managing text message communications in compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CAN-SPAM Act, and other applicable laws and regulations. 2. Consent and Opt-In Requirements Consent must be obtained through a clear and conspicuous opt-in process (e.g., via website forms, keyword responses, verbal, or other documented methods). SG Land Investment will obtain consent before sending marketing or promotional text messages. Consent records, including the date, time, and method of consent, will be securely stored for compliance purposes. 3. Message Content and Frequency Text messages will include clear identification of SG Land Investment LLC as the sender. Marketing messages will include a clear opt-out instruction (e.g., "Reply STOP to unsubscribe"). Messages will not exceed a reasonable frequency, typically no more than 4 per month, unless explicitly requested by the customer. 4. Opt-Out Mechanism Customers can opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying with keywords such as "STOP," "CANCEL," or "UNSUBSCRIBE." Opt-out requests will be honored immediately, and no further messages will be sent unless the customer re-subscribes. Confirmation of successful opt-out will be sent to the customer. |
